Incorporating a sprung-hinged feature, for off-road or fold up design for road bikes, they will simply fold away in the event of a crash, preventing them from snapping and allowing the bike to be ridden. With specific designs for each manufacturer, they are a simple replacement for the OE sets, so are very easy to fit with no modicifcation of the bike required
