TT On-Bike Laps Vol.2
"Best ever TT coverage....get the full feel of speed around the course" Motorcycle News

Experience the record-breaking race action of the 2009 Isle of Man TT from on board the machines!

TT2009 produced some of the closest, fastest and most thrilling racing ever seen on the legendary 37.7-mile TT course. Experience four racing laps with the biggest names in the sport, with producer North One’s cutting-edge technology delivering top quality footage. See the TT as the riders do - so close to the action you can feel every bump and jolt. The adrenalin will be pumping and the heart pounding as you hit speeds in excess of 180mph!

First up is Guy Martin on lap four of the Dainese Superbike TT. The low-mounted, forward facing camera shows the 1000cc Hydrex Honda’s suspension hard at work as Martin laps at an incredible 127.685mph on his way to third place.

Next we ride with sidecar legend Dave Molyneux as he races to victory, and into the record books, during Sure Sidecar Race 1. The forward-facing camera is mounted low on the DMR Suzuki outfit, letting you share Moly’s view as he laps at 115.040mph. This is awe-inspiring stuff, showing the skill and bravery it takes to go sidecar racing.

A rear-facing camera on Ian Hutchinson’s 600cc Padgetts Honda gives a rare view of the course at an incredible 125.726mph! Experience every bump the back wheel hits, and every slide, as you join Hutchy on the last lap of Relentless Supersport Race 1, and witness the incredible closing speed of Bruce Anstey’s TAS Suzuki during the nip and tuck battle between the pair. Our final race lap is with Carl Rennie during the Royal London 360 Superstock Race as he blasts around the course on his 1000cc Suzuki at a staggering 125.73mph on the first lap.

Plus, we have a world first - the DVD debut of on-board lap of the TT course by an electric-powered bike. Join Thomas Montano during practice for TTXGP, the inaugural race for clean emissions motorcycles, at an impressive average lap speed of 67.043mph. The forward-facing camera lets you share this historic lap - and the very first electric motorcycle spill at the TT!

TT 2009 On-Bike Laps Vol.1
"Best ever TT coverage....get the full feel of speed around the course" Motorcycle News

Four great laps of the 37.7 mile IOM TT Course recorded during Practice Week 2009

Bathed in beautiful sunshine all week and with the most impressive entry of international riders and machines seen in years, lap speeds were expected to rise during practice for TT2009 and we were not disappointed!

Thanks to the wonders of modern technology deployed by producers North One, we present no less than 4 mind-boggling laps in high quality video for you to enjoy time and again from the comfort and safety of your favourite armchair. You may not believe it, but we confirm that none of these recordings have been speeded up – they’re 100% real.

First we have a rare and quite special lap with TT legend John McGuinness at an average speed of over 128mph. The camera looks back at John’s every move as the scenery whizzes past at up to 191mph. It’s mesmerising stuff. Just watch for the walls at Handley’s Corner and the sheer pounding he takes from the many crests and dips.

Next is Steve Plater’s 128.9mph lap on the Thursday of Practice Week. This is terrifyingly fast, rider’s-eye-view magic from a rider who just gets quicker and quicker at the TT. Probably the most impressive lap recorded to date at the TT.

Then World Sidecar Champion Tim Reeves lets us have the passenger-eye-view on a lap in perfect conditions. Tim and Patrick Farrance have certainly learnt how to ride the World’s most challenging circuit in fast and fine style.

Finally Guy Martin shows us how he does a 128.8mph lap with a camera facing forward and mounted low on the bike. Also recorded during Thursday Practice, you can check out the full suspension movement as the bike skims over the white lines at race-winning speed.

If you heart isn’t pounding after watching this lot, you’re not human!

One Day In June DVD
The glorious return of one of motorcycle racing’s biggest names to the Isle of Man TT is the stuff of legend, still one of the most talked about events at the fabled road race more than three decades on.

In 1978, multiple World Champion Mike Hailwood returned to the iconic 37.73-mile TT course, after a self-imposed 11 year absence from the world famous circuit. Few doubted Hailwood still possessed the legendary skill which had brought him 12 TT wins, but a comeback at 38, after more than a decade away, was still a daunting prospect.

With a fine handling, but under-powered Ducati V-Twin at his disposal, Mike the Bike went head-to-head with fellow great Phil Read, riding the much faster 4 cylinder Honda in the opening race of the TT festival. Amazingly, Hailwood roared to victory in the Formula One race.

Fortunately a crew from Outrider Films was on hand to capture this historic moment, and interviews with Hailwood himself as he explains how boredom with his ‘9-5 lifestyle’ had brought him back to racing. One Day in June is a unique opportunity to see one of the greatest motorcycle racers of all time in action in one of his most important races.

This classic film also includes footage from the Senior TT, where Hailwood raced a Yamaha against legends like Pat Hennen and Tom Herron.

Plus, this DVD includes a bonus audio feature offering you the chance to hear Mike the Bike discuss a decade of racing at the TT in the extraordinary Mike Hailwood: My First 10 TT Years.

Recorded at Hailwood’s London flat in 1968, this chat with Peter Arnold chronicles the highs and lows of ten years racing in the Isle of Man, from fresh-faced teenager to his apparent retirement in 1967. Digitally remastered from the original Stanley Schofield archive recording, Mike Hailwood: My First 10 TT Years recalls the exhilarating battles, frustrations and tremendous triumphs.

It is a thrilling opportunity to discover how Hailwood managed to stamp his authority on the event, and offers revealing insight and first-hand accounts of some of the most memorable races ever. The soundtrack to the interview is provided by the Hondas, MV Agustas and other glorious machines that dominated the TT during Hailwood's heyday, plus race commentary from such luminaries as Murray Walker.

There's also a chance to hear more classic recordings of TT action from the 1950s and 1960s in clips from Duke's audio TT collection.

TT A Film Documentary - Directors Cut DVD
TT: A Film Documentary was the popular and critically-acclaimed result of director Andy Stickland's work during the Isle of Man TT in 2003.

Now, to mark the Centenary TT, an extended and updated edition of this classic film has been released.
With its bold, candid style, TT: A Film Documentary captures a turning point in the TT's history. With the spotlight on its future, the extremes of this emotional roller coaster were on display in 2003. From fantastic racing, captured in sublime footage, to the tragic loss of TT favourite David Jefferies - the no holds barred documentary charts the whole story.

Uniquely, the documentary goes beyond the racing and 'face' of the festival, for the first time bringing together all the sights, sounds, people and passion. Radio TT commentary, intimate interviews, unprecedented access and a stunning soundtrack - featuring the likes of Coldplay, Oasis, Slade and more - make this an incredible record of a pivotal year in the event's heritage.

TT: A Film Documentary captures the essence, passion and atmosphere, with contributions from leading riders including John McGuinness, Adrian Archibald and Ian Lougher, the unique perspective of six-times TT winner Geoff Duke and the views of the many characters who make the TT what it is.

In this new director's cut, Stickland has updated his amazing documentary, which now features almost 15 minutes of extra footage, and created a brand new film - The Director's Return, in which Stickland revisits the Isle of Man to find out how the event has changed ahead of the Centenary races in 2007.

He catches up with leading riders, the characters who contributed so much to his film and the Isle of Man's very own Richard 'Milky' Quayle - whose career-ending smash was so graphically captured in the documentary. It also reflects on the tragic loss of some familiar faces - just like the original film, it fearlessly examines every facet of what makes the TT unique.
The Director's Cut gives you even more, and The Director's Return brings to story bang up to date for the TT's Centenary.

TT 2006 Review DVD
Only one thing was better than the brilliant weather at TT 2006 and that was the speed of the world's most famous 'real roads' course.

This review takes you trackside using cameras on bikes, kerbs and helicopters to capture wheelies, jumps and white-knuckle corners at rubber-stripping speeds.

All six races are covered in three entertaining hours - including rider interviews, post-race celebrations and the pit-lane stops. DVD extras include an on-board lap with Guy Martin, international rider profiles a marshal's guide to the TT.

"Spring's annual TT festival, 13 days and 6 races, is a magnificent anachronism, like Wimbledon's grass or Epsom's undulations. While the MotoGP boys whizz round on their manicured tracks, the Isle of Man's 'real roads' mountain course is nearly 38 miles long, with 266 turns, many of them combination corners. It breeds a special kind of biking hero, and this year's was undoubtedly John McGuiness, the 'Morcambe Missile', who won 3 of the 4 solo races, set 9 outright lap records and edged to within 0.55mph of the mythic 130mph lap. Conditions were well-nigh perfect, and this record of the proceedings isn't far off it either ... it's a model of what a motorsport DVD should be; expert commentary, illuminating interviews, more camera positions than you can shake a stick at and a whopping 220 minutes of action. A bonus feature offers travel details for 2007, Centenary year; if enough of the so-far unconverted view this, they'll have to put on more ferries."

TT 2005 witnessed dramatic changes with the all-new Superbike, Supersport A and B and Superstock races each going to four different winners! McGuinness was the only rider to go on to clinch two victories, bringing his total TT wins to eight. The two sidecar races were just as nail biting with the first victory going to Nick Crowe and Darren Hope in the Sidecar A. Moly stormed back in Sidecar B to become not only the most successful sidecar driver in TT history taking his 11th victory; but also the first to break the elusive 20-minute barrier on three wheels!

DVD extras include on-board laps and telemetry with Martin Finnegan averaging 127 mph around the course, and a completely different viewpoint with Tony Baker as a passenger in his sidecar! Plus coverage of the Classic Parade Lap featuring 10 times TT winner Giacomo Agostini reunited with MV Agusta alongside many more TT favourites. This official review brings you the racing from every conceivable angle with kerb, on-bike, helicopter and roadside cameras, as well as capturing the electric atmosphere on Douglas Prom.

TT 2004 Review DVD
It takes guts to race in the TT, luck and skill to finish and raw talent to win. TT 2004 saw emphatic wins, lap and race records and plenty of bottle! With the racing even hotter than the weather, records fell in the Duke Formula 1, Production 1000, Junior & Sidecar classes with the outright lap record lifted to 127.68 mph by John McGuinness. McGuinness went on to take wins in the Formula 1, Junior TT and Lightweight 400, to join TT greats, Hailwood, Dunlop, Hislop and Jefferies in the elite hat-trick club.

Bruce Anstey, Ryan Farquhar and Adrian Archibald also took race wins whilst Dave Molyneux clocked up a record-equalling 10th sidecar win.

This official review captures the racing, the records, the riders and the atmosphere generated by one of the largest TT crowds for years. The action is captured from all angles, using kerb, on-bike and roadside cameras together with some stunning heli-cam footage, to give you the closest, most exhilarating review of this fantastic festival. It's not easy for the production team to improve on these excellent reviews each year, but we think even regular viewers will be impressed with this DVD.

DVD extras include on-board laps with Richard Britton featuring, for the first time, on-screen data, displaying the brake light, exact speed and the angle of the bike. Also featured is a lap from a rider-facing camera; don't miss the clear sky between Britton and bike on a number of occasions! Other features include a John McGuinness practice diary, Top Ten TT riders, TT Trumps and a tribute to David Wood.

TT 2003 Review DVD
There’s nothing remotely like it anywhere in the wide world of motorcycle and motor sports. Only the notorious TT Mountain Course presents its challengers with over 37 miles of public roads to attack at mind-boggling speeds. The ultimate challenge has been there since 1907 and in 2003 Ireland’s Adrian Archibald was the one to conquer it in determined, ultra high speed style on his 1000cc TAS Suzuki. Sadly, Archibald’s win in the Duke F1 was to be dedicated to his TAS teammate David Jefferies, 2002’s fastest man and outright lap record holder, who was fatally injured in a practice accident. Later in the week the Ulsterman set a runaway 126+mph average pace in the Senior to achieve a fitting and emotional win for the TAS Suzuki team. Watch Kiwis Bruce Anstey and Shaun Harris power their way to victory and marvel at Molly’s sidecar wheel-spinning over the Mountain to yet one more win! Pull up a chair and we’ll soon have you on the edge of it as we take you through all 8 races – from the road, the air, on-bike and from kerbcams. . With filming from some great new locations, picture quality that is second to none and some ‘colourful’ sideshow action, this is not to be missed! DVD Extras: Tribute to David Jefferies TT Festival Flavour Jamie Whitham and the Po Boys On-board lap with Shaun Harris Triumph at the TT

TT 2002 Review DVD
[What a blast! What a party! The TT is back - bigger and better than ever before. Records tumbled as road racing's finest blasted round the course in a maelstrom of high speed duels and thunderous racing. All eyes were on David Jefferies. In 2000 he broke the 125mph barrier; in this year's Duke F1 race he obliterated his own record with an incredible 126.68mph lap - then went even faster in the Senior at an astonishing 127.29mph!

TAS Suzuki team-mate Ian Lougher took two wins and three seconds and there were wins for Jim Moodie and Bruce Anstey. Rob Fisher became the most successful sidecar racer ever on the island and Manxman Richard 'Milky' Quayle recorded a tremendous win in the 400 race! Jam packed with stunning action highlights, there's plenty of apres-race high-jinks and mad antics crammed in here too.

This is one-hundred-and-ninety-miles-an-hour action, filmed from the ground (so close you can almost feel the shockwaves of the top men blasting past!) and from the air with the most fantastic pictures yet of two-wheeled missiles hurtling through the countryside. For electrifying on-board footage and awesome picture quality that you'll want to slo-mo time and again, flick into top gear for the offical story of TT 2002. It rocks!

TT 1997 Review - Blazin Saddles DVD
1997 - the 90th milestone of the TT mega festival - was a scorching year in more ways than one; sun hotter than hell and blistering racing to match as the world's best road racers - McCallen, the Dunlop brothers, Rutter, Moodie, Simpson, Beck, Jackson - once more took on the 'Challenge of the Mountain'. While the fans coped with sunburn, injured aces fought their own battle of wills. Following his Formula 1 victory, McCallen rode in excruciating pain to win both the Production and Senior TTs, and Robert Dunlop came back after serious injury in 1995 to claim a rostrum place. Meanwhile big brother Joey added yet another victory to his tally, taking his total to an incredible 22 wins in 22 years. Don't miss... Ian Lougher, snatching victory on the last lap. 'Simmo' Simpson, breaking lap and race records in his first TT win. Hanks/Biggs, Biggs/Biggs and Hanks/Wilson - sidecar families on top. And that's just the racing! We also feature pit lane drama, rider interviews, off-track antics, the Ramsey Sprint, the soaring Red Arrows and as ever, the fantastic fans who make the TT festival the unique event it is. With more cameras than ever this year around the course, more spectacular helicopter views, great on-bike and the mind-blowing kerbside cam - we bring you all the burning action you could ever want, to watch again and again...

TT 1989 Review - The New Pretender DVD
To compete on the daunting 37.73 mile Isle of Man TT Mountain Course is a major challenge in itself. Yet, since 1907, the challenge has been taken up by some amazing riders. Like Harold Daniell, Freddy Frith, Geoff Duke and Mike Hailwood who competed for 500cc World Championship points, as well as the enormous personal satisfaction of riding in the greatest road races of them all. In 1989, the reigning ‘King of the Roads’, Joey Dunlop was unable to ride due to injury but a new pretender to the title made an emphatic mark on the TT. Steve Hislop, a 17 year old Scotsman not only equalled the records of Hailwood and Dunlop by winning three races in one week but also pushed the outright record to over 121mph average speed! See Hislop cresting the rises at Rhencullen and Kerrowmoar on the back wheel of his 185mph Honda RC30, Nick Jefferies wheelying his Honda split seconds before the stone wall marking the sweeping curves of the Mountain section during the Formula One Race. But they are not the only treats in store for armchair enthusiasts. Producer Videovision working closely with Duke, found scores of locations around the course to reveal the true nature of this event. Stunning aerial shots filmed from over 1 mile above the Bungalow contrast with the hectic schedule of sideshow events and they all go to show why the TT the ‘World’s Greatest Motorcycling Event!’

TT 1988 Review - Kings of the Mountain DVD
The world’s longest running motorcycle races enjoyed a vintage year in ‘88 with a 45,000 crowd soaking up 10 days of motorcycle sport unsurpassed for sheer spectacle and sustained entertainment. They had come to see ‘pure’ road racing in its grandest form. In perfect weather conditions many records were to fall as average speeds over the 37.73 mile Mountain Course neared the 120 mph mark and the latest machinery, including the Loctite Bimota Yamahas and Honda RC30s clocked over 185 mph in places. But would anyone usurp the ‘King’s’ crown? Joey Dunlop, maestro of road racing, faced really stiff and ever-faster opposition in the Formula One and Senior events whilst his entries in the Junior and Production races would be equally hard fought. In the Sidecars, Boddice and Birks were out to combine speed and reliability in both legs to fulfil a 20 year old dream for Boddice. No less than 120 different locations around the course were used by the Videovision camera crews to capture spectacular footage of the races. We have also included much, much more for your enjoyment, because the TT is more than a race meeting - it’s a ‘festival fortnight’ of motocycling and fun, with rallies, rock concerts, fireworks and entertainment galore packed around the racing.

TT 1948 DVD
A short but wonderfully nostalgic visual record of the 1948 Isle of Man TT featuring pre-race activities and action footage. 1948 saw a record number of entries as Norton, Velocette and Moto Guzzis dominated. Stars of the post War era - Freddie Frith, Bob Foster, Artie Bell and other familiar faces were drawn once more to this legendary road racing festival. Probably the first TT film produced after the Second World War, this recently discovered film won an award for its enthusiastic producer Sam Coles. There is no sound other than the informed commentary of Graham Walker but this in no way detracts from the atmosphere and excitement of another chapter in Isle of Man road racing history.

Easy to see why it won an award for its producer...excellent viewing and well worth the asking price' Met On Wheels

Isle of Speed also offers a quaint, and at times comical, profile of the Isle of Man of the 1950s, with its strong farming and fishing industries. But as the name implies, this film is about the racing and gives an amazing taste of the 'toughest, most exacting test of its kind in the world'.

Honda's Golden TT Years DVD
Ever since Soichiro Honda visited the Isle of Man in 1954 there has been a special affinity between the Japanese marque and the TT races. In a new release from Duke Video, Honda's Golden Year TT Years DVD examines, year by year, the extraordinary success the company has enjoyed at the world-famous tournament. Soichiro Honda did much of the market research for his products, as far as travelling to races all over the world and examining the machines of his competitors. His dedication took Honda motorcycles from a disappointing finish in their first international race in 1954 to a manufacturer's team prize in the 1959 Isle of Man TT. Quoted as saying, "only by winning at the Isle of Man TT can we open our way towards becoming a world enterprise and to selling our product internationally," these words would resonate through the years as Honda produced some of the most memorable machines and greatest champions the world would ever see on two wheels. The DVD stars TT top guns such as Mike Hailwood, Jim Redman, Steve Hislop, Carl Fogarty, Phil McCallen and the late, great Joey Dunlop, the film features road racing of the highest calibre. The 1967 Diamond Jubilee Senior TT shows the great battle between Hailwood and Agostini in all its glory. Original commentary from a young Murray Walker adds a touch of class, while the DVD invites fans to turn up the volume and reminisce with a 'Sounds of Honda' featuring some fearsome howls of the classic machines that have resonated through the years. TT Classic Magic DVD
Aermacchi, NSU, Velocette, Scott ... names from a golden era of motorcycling, crowned by the supremely exotic magic of Moto Guzzi. And where better to celebrate the glory days of these evocative machines than on the stamping ground that so many of them made famous (and vice versa!) - The Isle of Man TT.

In 1996 Moto Guzzi marked their 75th anniversary by lining up for the prestigious Lap of Honour with their best representation on the Mountain Course since 1957. Elsewhere during this memorable fortnight enthusiasts could enjoy the VMCC Vintage Assembly plus a wealth of club rallies and get-togethers, as local and international riders gathered to recreate the halcyon days when leathers were black and you heard a motorcycle approach before you saw it!

In this marvellous tribute to the golden days of motorcycling on the magic mountain, you can now see many of these rare machines in initmate close-ups and hear from the riders whose return to the Island heralded a vintage festival of memorable sights and sounds. We also take you for a nostalgic ride on-board Bill Lomas' V-8 Moto Guzzi, show you the early St Johns TT course on board a 1958 BSA Shooting Star outfit and experience a bone-shaking 1928 DOT Bradshaw.
